The Bugged Out stage returns for the 4th Field Day festival at Victoria Park on Saturday July 31st and we’ve put together our most diverse dance line up to date in association with Full Circle and Dummy. Live on stage are Moderat, who comprise Modeselector and Apparat, last year they were voted best live act by readers of Resident Advisor and with their incredible retina tweaking visuals we are in for a real treat; also appearing is the unique entertainer and raconteur Chilly Gonzales (whose new album is produced by Boys Noize), the addictive electronic pop of New Jersey one man band Memory Tapes; Tensnake – the man behind club hit Coma Cat and New York synth pop duo The Golden Filter. DJ sets are provided by Simian Mobile Disco, James Holden (who is about to release a DJ Kicks mix), the enigmatic Fake Blood, Carte Blanche (DJ Mehdi & Riton’s house project on Ed Banger); don of purple dub step Joker & MC Nomad and Durrr’s remixer du jour Rory Phillips.

This is only our stage, also appearing across stages by Eat Your Own Ears, Adventures in the Beetroot Field, Village Mentality and Bloggers Delight are headliners Phoenix, Caribou, The Fall, Hudson Mohawke, Dam Funk, L-Vis 1990 & Bok Bok, Mount Kimbie, Gold Panda, Andrew Weatherall, Ramadanman, Pantha Du Prince and more. It all runs from 11am til 11pm and then there’s an after party too!

ADVANCE TICKETS ARE NOW OFF SALE. THERE ARE A GOOD NUMBER OF TICKETS HELD BACK FOR SALE ON THE DOOR BUT PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT. £15 STUDENTS OR £20 OTHERS.

MAD DECENT: DIPLO/DROP THE LIME/L-VIS 1990/MUMDANCE/MARTELO MAD DIVISION: RUSKO/JOKER/UNTOLD/JAYOU/STENCHMAN

Last year’s Mad Decent party at Union St Car Park was one of 2009’s most memorable. Put together by Bugged Out and Diplo it featured Fake Blood, Crookers, Skream, Boy 8 Bit and the man himself. So it didn’t take much persuading to invite Diplo back to the venue for another bank holiday belter. This time Diplo has curated both rooms and the line up is epic. In the Mad Decent Soundsystem room joining Diplo is Brooklyn, N.Y’s Drop The Lime joining London boys L-Vis 1990, Mumdance and Martelo. In the Mad Division room Rusko is having his O.M.G album launch so he’ll be playing and is joined by exponent of purple music Joker, Untold, Jayou and Stenchman. Put this line up in an incredible warehouse venue with a boomin’ system and major lazers and BOOM that’s your next bank holiday sorted. Sunday May 30th. 10pm-6am. Union St Car Park 29 Great Suffolk St, London SE1. Guaranteed entry tickets available here http://tinyurl.com/33wnl86 £15 students or £20 on the door.

We haven’t been this excited about a party since the Decked Out anniversary at the Coronet. Tiga’s Planet Turbo night comes to London on May 1st and we are slightly over excited to announce that the incredible production on the show is being put together by Andreas Nillson who has worked on The Knife and Fever Ray shows. The DJ line up features Tiga’s first London show in eight months, Boys Noize & Erol Alkan who are riding high with the ruddy brilliant Avalanche and Lemonade double A release and also Trevor Jackson, Matt Walsh, DMX Krew and Turbo top man Thomas Von Party. It’s what bank holidays were made for.

Tiga says of the DJ’s: “Erol is one of the big boys and a great friend. Boys Noize is the techno kid all grown up. An amazing dj and one of the few guys I really trust to destroy a party. Fits right into my Man’s Planz. Matt Walsh? When I first men him, he was dressed exactly like Peter Pan. Her even had a cable harness strapped to him and Thomas Von Party is my brother. The heartwarming glue that holds the Turbo family together and the first man to publicly ‘Kick it up a vibe.’

THERE WILL BE A NUMBER OF TICKETS ON THE DOOR – £13 STUDENTS, £15 OTHERS. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY.

Following last years 5 hour set on Easter Thursday Erol returns to Fire’s ace main room for another epic jaunt through his record box and beyond. But this time he’s doing the whole night! Arrive early and find Erol in a candle -lit room playing the kind of odd electronica he champions on his BBC6 music show, his Beyond the Wizard’s Sleeve productions and his Bugged In selection. Expect the night to weave through Disco 3000 territory and full on mutant techno and into classics from his tenure at Trash, Bugged Out and Durrr. Durrr dudes Rory Phillips and The Lovely Jonjo play in room two. Anyone who travelled to this night last year will tell you it’s not to be missed! So. Don’t. Miss. It.
