- Tiga Ciao album launches: Mcr & Ldn
Ciao! That’s the name of Tiga’s second album, we’ve heard it and it’s brilliant. There are production collaborations with James Murphy, Soulwax, Gonzales, Jesper Dahlback and Jori Hulkkonen and songs about shoes, sex, looking in eyes and seeing the future. That kind of thing. Yep, the febrile Mind Dimension is on there, another amazing mutant rave track called What You Need and even a song that sounds like Joe Jackson (ask your Dad). Bugged Out threw Tiga’s album launch for Sexor a few years ago so we are honoured to mark the occasion of his second release with a party at Sankeys in Manchester on May 1st and at a unique location in Shoreditch on May 3rd. The Manchester date features Tiga and Turbo artist Brodinski (who is busy mixing the next in our Suck My Deck series) and James Holroyd and Disco Bloodbath DJ’s are also on the bill. The London date is not a normal club, but the basement of an ace space near the Old Blue Last pub which we are doing out Tiga style. Tiga will be playing (obvs) alongside London mucker Matt Walsh, stopmakingme and there’s gonna be a special live set from The Proxy who has just turned in his best work yet – a remix of What You Need. This party is gonna be super memorable and it’s on Bank holiday Sunday so you’ve no excuse to miss this! Ciao! £15 adv www.ticketweb.co.uk £12 students or £16. Arrive early to ensure entry.
