Julio Bashmore and Mike Dunn headline Bugged Out’s first night at Ministry of Sound.

After an impressive seven years since Battle For Middle You first appearing and conquered all, Bashmore has played for Bugged Out countless times, each appearance bringing his glorious mix of bumpin’ party music and feet moving jams. With his new record label having a great 2017 and tracks from his debut album Knockin’ Boots still flooding the airwaves, Bashmore taking control of the best room in London – Ministry’s Box – is a match made in heaven. Joining him in The Box is Chicago jacking house king of the acid Mike Dunn. Dunn’s recent album My House From All Angles – his first in 27 years – was met with unanimous praise adding to his already impressive CV (‘God Made Me Phunky’ anyone?). Manchester’s house collective Swing Ting round off the main room lineup.

In room 103, we’re inviting a lotus flower blossoming from the depths of Glasgow’s oddball underground, Happy Meals have comfortably danced along the borders between acid-italo-kitsch, Franco-chanson and utopian kosmische explorations. With releases on Optimo propelling them alongside must see live performances, we’re excited for Happy Meals to bring their record bags bursting with italo-disco and acid flecked jams. Alongside Bugged Out resident and TNC records head honcho Lemmy Ashton, fresh from an impressive year of remixes and releases. Warming up 103 are South London disco party mainstays Stevie Wonderland.
